Children's House, founded in 1971 as Norman's first Montessori school, is a not-for-profit early education center emphasizing a Montessori approach to education.  This is the official website for Children's House Montessori School of Norman and is your best source for accurate, up-to-date information about the school.

At Children's House your preschooler or kindergartener can enjoy active learning in a child-centered environment carefully prepared to include developmentally appropriate activities.  Independence and freedom of choice are emphasized, along with individualized attention by teachers who have been educated in child development and are qualified to enrich your child's early learning experience in a warm, supportive social environment.

Beginning in fall, 2009, after-school care will be available on site from 2:30 to 5:30.  Please see our "Classes" page for details.

News update!

We still have a few spaces in our three- and four-year-old class, both morning-only and all day.  Spaces are also available for after school care.  We have no more Kindergarten spaces at this time but are taking a waiting list.  Also, due to many requests we are now taking a waiting list for enrollment in fall, 2010.  See our "Classes" page for more details.
