As nearly as possible we follow the Norman Public School schedule.  We are deviating from it slightly again this year in order to achieve a schedule that provides for better continuity in the classroom.  Rather than begin class on Thursday, Aug. 19th, as the public schools do, we will begin on Monday, the 23rd.  To compensate for these two days, we will be in session two days when the NPS will be closed for professional days, Fri., Sept. 3rd, and Fri., Jan. 14th, giving the children a full five days of school both those weeks.We will also be in session one additional day when the NPS are closed, Mon., March 21st, giving the children a five day week that week as well.  We will continue to follow the Norman Public School policy for snow days; if the public schools are closed, we will be also.
