Children's House, founded in 1971 as Norman's first Montessori school, is a not-for-profit early education center emphasizing a Montessori approach to education.  This is the official website for Children's House Montessori School of Norman and is your best source for accurate, up-to-date information about the school.

At Children's House your preschooler or kindergartener can enjoy active learning in a child-centered environment carefully prepared to include developmentally appropriate activities.  Independence and freedom of choice are emphasized, along with individualized attention by teachers who have been educated in child development and are qualified to enrich your child's early learning experience in a warm, supportive social environment.

After-school care is available on site from 2:30 to 5:30 for children enrolled in a class at Children's House.  Please see our "Classes" page for details.

We require that children be three years old by June 15th to enroll for the following fall.  Enrollment in classes for fall, 2012, opens for children new to the school on   Feb. 1, 2012.  Please call the school office to check for class availability.
